How it all began...

The Night of 1000 Voices and The Night of 1000 Stars have thrilled capacity audiences at the Royal Albert Hall since 1999. The Night of 1000 Voices was originally produced as the centenary celebration for The National Opera and Dramatic Association featuring 100 members from each of the 10 regions of NODA singing songs from the shows.

Subsequently, for the past 15 years, audiences have thrilled to the sight and sound of the huge The Night of 1000 Voices massed choir from around the British Isles, 75 children and young artistes from the Sylvia Young Theatre School, Laine Theatre Arts and the London Studio Centre together with the West End Chorus and The City of London Philharmonic who, together with Stephen Disley at the Great Organ of the Royal Albert Hall, have accompanied some very special stars from London, New York and Europe in musicals' nights to remember.
